relevant. so fucking relevant.
What kind of camera do you use for your film photography?
All sorts. I haven’t used a film camera twice before. The black and white is from a Canon AE-1. The color, its my bosses camera. It didn’t have a name on it, but I remember it was a range finder. I have 4 more rolls of film that need to be developed from 4 different cameras. One has Japanese writing all over it, which it’s an instamatic type camera. Another I built, which is a twin flex. One is from the 1940’s I got from my aunts father in law. It still had his address from when he lived in Los Angeles taped inside. Not to bore with details but it was a bigO’bitch to deal with. A lot of manual settings to where you have to align the next shot perfectly. I can’t remember which other camera I used for the 4th roll. I like the challenge in learning new cameras. Unfortunately I can only stick with cameras that fit 35mm. 120 film is a little pricey but haven’t come across another camera that takes that film. I had a Diana but it got lost someplace in the desert (I think). I’ve had more luck with pictures coming out now, than I did in the past. I took a Nikon with me from the 80’s to NYC and both rolls came out black. Sucks, that camera was heavy.
